Quilt and sew
I would like to highlight this activity we did on our second cross-years studio, with Cai, and had a great learning experience in the process. Cai showed us their quilts, which are absolutely beautiful and crafted with a lot of work.
In this studio, we worked together in a group and made a quilt. This was also the first time I tried sewing, I did know about it, knew how to do it, but this was the day I did it practically. Our brief was to think about our experience at Central Saint Martins and visualise it with thread and found materials, stitching them together, and at the end, making a quilt by sewing together pieces from everyone in smaller groups. The final outcomes were very abstract and visually engaging. Here are some images from the studio session.

I decided to create this piece, with cuffs of a shirt, symbolising hands, guiding one another, I will let the viewer interpret further.
