Pareidolia and type

Type design using fingers and hands

This entry shows type design using hands and fingers. I used the phenomenon of pareidolia to introduce friction into readability. Pareidolia is the phenomenon of finding familiar shapes and faces in objects. The images show how I created the letters and some examples of the same put to test and in use. I tested it’s readability by conversing with Microsoft’s Copilot.
